What is Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)?
MBSR is an intensive, world-renowned course that can help you reduce stress and distress improve your ealth and wellbeing. It combines mindfulness (including meditation, body awareness, and yoga) with cognitive approaches. MBSR was developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn at the Center for Mindfulness (CFM) at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center. I trained at the CFM and was certified there as an MBSR teacher. I am proud that I pioneered bringing the approach to Israel in 2002. Since then I have taught MBSR to thousands of people in Israel and abroad, offering these life-changing skills to members of the general public and to health professionals, too.
