What is Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction?
MBSR is an intensive course in mindfulness meditation techniques and cognitive approaches to help people reduce stress and improve health and wellbeing. It uses a combination of meditation, body awareness, and yoga. This technique was developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center. Dr. Wyshogrod introduced MBSR to Israel in 2002 and has taught MBSR to thousands of Israelis, general public and health professionals alike. She has taught MBSR internationally, including the US and in India.
